  • TeamSpeak 3 Server - IP : "soldiersofdemise.com"

    Hello everyone ,
    A new TS3 server has been set for our community.
    This tutorial will show the basic uses of TeamSpeak 3 and will not expend about all the options.
    So what is TeamSpeak? TeamSpeak is a communication program just like Skype , however , in TeamSpeak (TS) it is more for gaming and team conversations. Usually in Skype having a conversation of few people will make insane lags.
    To join our TS3 server , first of all you need to download it.
    Download link : http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads
    Install it and launch it.
    When launched you will see the following screen:



    Now your TS works. To connect to our server click on "connections" :



    Click on connect:


    After clicking on connect the following screen will appear:


    Fill it in the following way:
    Server Address : Put here the server address you want to join , in our community case it is - "soldiersofdemise.com"
    Nickname : Put here your nickname , in my case it would be "Luke
    Server Password : In our TS server we got no password so leave it blank.


    After filling in , just click connect :




    After connecting , the following screen will appear :


    This is you , to know if it works or not just speak up and if you are sounded the blue dark circle will become bright.
    To mute yourself simply click on this button.
    To mute the channel so you can't hear what others say , simply click on this button.
    Right now you are in the lounge , most likely no one will be here. To join our ZPS community channel click on one of the server names.
    This is your chat , if you are not willing to speak , you can type.


    You can join other channels like DayZ , League of legends and etc.


    Make sure to click on /!\ Rules Read /!\ and read them. Ignorance of the law doesn't not exempt from punishment.

  • Tips when you should apply - Strongly recommended reading before applying

    As you know not everyone can become a member , there are few tips that might help you getting accepted.


    1.Make sure you have at least 70 hours of ZPS. We don't judge the level of your play either you are bad or good it doesn't matter. What is important for us is that you understand the basics, and you are able to understand the game. We don't ask you to be a professional just know the game.


    2.Make sure you haven't broke any rules ((2022) »SoD« ZPS Server Rules). We are really strict with our rules, breaking rules is not acceptable at all cost. No matter who you are. Wearing an SoD tag means you represent the community, accepting you to the community and knowing you will violate rules brings a bad name to our community.

    3.Make sure it is not too early to apply. Get to know people. 70 hours of ZPS doesn't make you a known player in our community. Earn our members' respect, show that you are a trustworthy player. After all the members are the only ones decide if you will be accepted to the community or not, show a good impression.

    4.It is strongly recommended that you will stick with your ingame name so members who give their opinions about your application won't get confused. Previously we had cases of members reporting an inactivity of an applicant. The applicant was active but was known for his forum name thence couldn't be found ingame. This is not a must but to prevent inconvenience it is strongly recommended.
    5.English is an international spoken language. The best way to communicate is using English, in addition it shows a lot about the person. As a »SoD« tag wearer you represent our community. To represent our community you need to speak English. English is spoken worldwide thence we need to make sure you can answer questions, show good knowledge and so on.


    6.Make sure to be active during your application. The most important time to be active during your application , during your application people will start noticing you ingame and it's not the right time to show a lack of activity. Obviously don't take it for granted and after getting accepted be inactive.


    7.Don't ask from other members to comment in your application. Let the opinions come naturally , give everyone their time. Members will reply in your application without asking.




    Following the tips above will increase your chances of being accepted by a lot!
    These are just recommendations, there are exceptions, however, don't take them for granted.
